Finnmark in April : a real Eldorado for icefishing. The mountains of Ifjord, Laksefjorden and the great fishing waters of upper Tana valley makes your blood to boil if you are a real fisherman.

Program

Day1                          

Arrival at Kirkenes airport
Immediate transfer to Polmak
Polmak Guesthouse is regarding an renewed timberhouse from 19th century, six earth cottages with panels of pine. Each cottage with bed- & living rooms, own bath and kitchen
Lunch from The Arctic Menu
The welcome speech of Vidar The Viking and details of program & icefishing.School of security details
Packing the snowmobiles
Driving to prepared base camp by hidden lake
Dinner and overnight in Sami tent

Note: The temperature can be even -15° celcius at night time

Day2                                     

Good breakfast
Starting to fish arctic char and trout at the base camp lake
Lunch at base camp
After lunch fishing or driving to new fishing areas
Tasteful dinner
Overnight

Day 3                                    

Early breakfast
Driving to the best fishing places
Lunch at base camp
Visiting a real Sami camp, coffee break
Driving with snowmobiles back to the Guesthouse of Polmak
Sauna and outdoor bubble bath
Alternatives: aromatheraphy or healing after sauna
Dinner from the Arctic Menu
Overnight in the earth cottages

Day 4                                    

Breakfast at Guesthouse
Transfer to Kirkenes airport
