Adventure Camp Mehamn

Adventure Camp Mehamn is situated on a peninsula at the western side of the harbour of the fishing village Mehamn, the northernmost fishing village of Norway. The 900 open and friendly inhabitants of Mehamn wishes you welcome to experience the local culture and the virgin arctic nature in this remote end of Europe.

This new Camp was built in 2005.

The Adventure Camp, situated alone on the Peninsula “Holmen” offer a silent and relaxing atmosphere. Visit the “Adventure Camp” and experience this calm and virgin clean nature, just a few meters from The Adventure Camp you can walk along the clean beach and feel the silence and the majesty of this arctic nature.

YOUTH HOSTEL

The youth hostel is situated at the first floor of the main building. It contains  5 rooms and 14 beds, a fully equipped common kitchen with fridge, cook tops and tv, and two bathrooms.

FISHERMEN COTTAGES

 5 well-equipped, self-service cottages overlooking the sea. This fishermen’s cottages of a high standard are equipped with 3 rooms (6 beds), a kitchen with fridge, cook tops, oven and dishwasher, a living-room with tv and  bathroom with shower.

RESTAURANT

In our restaurant, you will have the possibility to  taste the fresh sea food or to take a drink in a warm atmosphere.
The camp offers a conference room for group meeting, presentations, events or big receptions.
If you want to relax our Adventure Camp propose you our  Sauna with place for up to 10 persons.

CAMPING SITE

During the summer, we offer the service facilities at the Adventure Camp and 18 separate parking sites for overnight in your mobilhome or in your tent by the Barents sea.
