Welcome to our snowmobile expedition to the most extreme and exciting nature area of the European continent. Overnight at "Adventure Camp Mehamn", comfortable fisherman`s cottages - on the seawater! www.nordicsafari.no

Snowmobile trails that crosses breathtaking panoramas you cannot even imagine. High mountains, deep canyons, and crystal clear blue arctic sea water when driving along the typical  Norwegian fjords.

All these exciting adventures presented and guided by Vidar the Viking, local Norwegian guide living at Mehamn, the northernmost fishing village of the world.

Exciting program

Day 1

Arrival by plane to Ivalo airport

Minibus transfer to the northernmost village of Finland Nuorgam,

by the border to Norway.

Dinner

Meeting our Norwegian guide - briefing about the next days adventures.

Overnight at Nuorgam Lomakeskus

Day 2

Nuorgam - Mehamn

Breakfast,      

Snowmobile driving course safety and operation.

Start driving across the border to Norway, through the Norwegian sami district, riding over the Ifjord Mountains, white desert as long as You can see!

Lunch and refuelling at Ifjord Guesthouse

Climbing up the mountains again - enyoying the panorama view of the Norwegian fjords. Driving high speed over the long planes of Nordkyn mountains

Descending down to sealevel again at Hopseidet - the small piece of land that connects the Nordkyn peninsula to the mainland. Fjords at both sides.

Climbing up the mountains at the other side and riding along high speed tracks to Mehamn fishing village.

Dinner based on local traditions

Overnight in comfortable Fisherman`s cottages

Driving along the exciting trails of Nordkyn peninsula

Sight seeing Sletnes lighthouse - Panorama view over the Barents sea

Coffe break at the lighthouse

Driving along the crystal blue seawater of Risfjord

High speed driving along lake Koifjord

Driving along the west side of the peninsula, down the canyons to Kjøllefjord fishing village, lunch 

returning by snowmobile to "Adventure Camp Mehamn" along the high mountain tracks

Dinner and overnight at Adventure Camp Mehamn

Day 4

Mehamn - Nuorgam

Breakfast

Driving across exciting mountains with absolute no vegetation.

Riding snowmobiles over the mountains to Laggo, with panorama view over the Tana fjord. Descending down to sea level again at Laggo, driving along laggo River valley over the mountains to  Ifjord

Lunch and refuelling at Ifjord

After lunch we are heading for the Ifjord mountains to Tana river. Driving along Tana river to Tana bru village, short coffe brake before we are driving up the river to Nuorgam - Checking in at Nuorgam Lomakeskus

Sauna dinner and overnight.

Vidar The Viking says goodbye and returns to Norway.
